Why choose us?

We take care of the complexities of applying for a Spanish visa, so you can be assured that you are in safe hands.

At Spanish Visa Specialists, we help people achieve their dreams of getting to Spain by providing them with expert Spanish visa assistance, and guiding them through the application process.

However, we are not the only company around who provides this service, and some may even offer cheaper services. So now you may be wondering, why should you choose us?

There are many benefits that you can get from using our services over other companies. Keep reading to find out what these are.

Do you have a question?

Please contact us by phone or email, and we will always do our best to assist you.

In-house drafting

Unlike other companies, we provide a range of services outside of the visa assistance you would expect of a company like ours.

You may be going to Spain for any number of reasons, such as if you need to deal with matters there through the use of a power of attorney. We can assist you with the drafting of such documents, so not only can we help you get your visa to Spain, we also assist you in ensuring you can carry out your affairs there as well.

If you use our drafting services, you can be sure that your documents have been drafted to be in-line with the requirements of Spain, and that they will be accepted.

UK-based team

Some companies that assist people with getting a Spanish visa are based in Spain. There are some benefits to this, but there are also some disadvantages, such as possible language barriers, and the fact that in some cases, you may have to visit Spain for a short period just to deal with your application.

With a UK-based team such as ours, you will have someone who better understands you, your needs, and who can manage the whole process much more easily for you.

You can read our blog on Spanish-based visa advisers versus British-based visa advisers if you would like more information.

Friendly and approachable team

Our team is always willing to help, and they have always left clients satisfied with their Spanish visa assistance.

We have already mentioned Nathan and Dévora, but the person you are likely to be talking to the most is Abi Webster. She is our Consular and Visa Support Specialist, and she will usually be the one dedicated to managing your case.

Finally, there is our Legal Assistant, Georgia Bristoll. She assists with the drafting of documents and with the administration process, but she takes calls as when.

When you ring us, you will usually be speaking to either Abi or Georgia. They are here to help you, and they do so with a smile.

Regular visa milestone updates

Our team will strive to provide you with regular updates on the progress of your visa application when it reaches certain milestones. They are happy to answer any questions you may have, and are here to help you.

In-house Notary Public services

Spanish Visa Specialists is a trading name of Woodcock Notary Public, meaning that you have easy access to the services of a notary as well. Notarisation of your documents is important, as it is required for your documents to be recognised as legal in countries around the world, including Spain.

With other companies, if you need a notary, you have to look around and pay even more because you have to use the services of both a visa assistance company, and a Notary Public.

However, if you use us, then you will have convenient access to our Notary Public of England and Wales, Nathan Woodcock. Over the years, he has helped countless people in their journey to Spain. He is also a solicitor, so he can help you with a wide range of matters.

The cost of using our services will be cheaper than if you go to two separate companies, as we provide an all-inclusive price for our services.

Nathan is primarily based in Manchester, particularly when he is dealing with clients who are wanting to go to Spain.

Mobile notary services

Usually, you would meet Nathan at our office in Manchester for your notary appointment.

However, you also have the option of meeting Nathan at a place of your own choice, as he is a mobile notary. If the location you choose is suitable, and it is at a reasonable time, then Nathan can meet you there for your notary appointment.

Mobile notary services can be much more convenient for some of our clients, so it is useful to keep it in mind when you look into using our services.

Not many companies that help with Spanish visa applications have a notary in-house, let alone one that is willing to travel and assist you.

Fast legalisation services

Due to our relationship with Woodcock Notary Public, we can also provide you with fast legalisation services, which many companies may not even provide to begin with.

Spain is a part of the Hague Apostille Convention, meaning that for your documents to be legalised, they will need to be provided with an apostille certificate. This certificate verifies that the signature of the notary who stamped and signed your documents is genuine, and so, shows Spain that your documents are real.

Apostilles are issued by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Domestic Office (FCDO) in the UK. We work closely with the FCDO to ensure that you get your documents issued with an apostille as fast as possible.

Quick translation services

We have a strong working relationship with Certified Sworn Translators. This allows us to get your documents translated into Spanish much faster than at many other companies, which means you will be able to get to Spain quicker.
